Independent Practice: Socrates

I’ve just returned from eleven days of vacation on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Because I have some very close friends in that area, I spend a fair amount of time there during the year. Unsurprisingly, I’ve developed a feeling for the place–to such an extent, indeed, that I would like to relocate there. Any schools up there–particularly in Amesbury, Newburyport, or Salisbury–in need of a special education teacher who has developed a specialty in remedial literacy? If so, please advise, and I’ll forward my resume to you posthaste!

Here is an independent practice worksheet on Socrates. If you teach global studies, or whatever your school district calls it, this might be a document your students could use.

If you find typos in this document, I would appreciate a notification. And, as always, if you find this material useful in your practice, I would be grateful to hear what you think of it. I seek your peer review.
